Fiction

I write fiction in various forms - prose, drama and radio drama - and am currently working on a novel and a collection of short stories.

I've performed at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, been published by Far Off Places, and had work performed at Edinburgh's Bedlam Theatre.

Story Shop at the Edinburgh International Book Festival

Every year, Edinburgh's City of Literature Trust runs Story Shop - a celebration of local, emerging writers. Successful applicants are given coaching in public speaking and are then invited to read at the world-famous Edinburgh International Book Festival. I was lucky enough to take part in 2014, reading my short story 'Toast' in the beautiful Spiegeltent.

You can see my original Story Shop page here.

'After' - performed at Candlewasters

My one-act play, 'After', was performed at Bedlam Theatre by the Edinburgh University Theatre Company as part of Candlewasters, a regular night celebrating new writing.

You can find an archive of the event here.

My short story, 'Toast', was published in Vol II, Issue 1 of Far Off Places - Between The Leaves.
